Ballet Trove Founder Renata Ogayar; Creating a life rich in beauty and expression.

Renata Ogayar, a distinguished figure in the dance, arts, and media industries, has crafted a remarkable career blending movement, dialogue, and media to explore the intricate facets of human experience. Beginning her artistic journey as a young dancer in Sydney, she secured a prestigious scholarship to Palucca University of Dance in Dresden, Germany, marking the inception of her quest for artistic exploration.

 

After graduating with a Bachelor of Creative Arts, Renata transitioned into roles as a dance educator and lecturer, influencing students of all ages both in Australia and internationally. Her journey expanded into arts management, film, and television production, and project management, culminating in a Master of International Relations in political science, showcasing her intellectual curiosity in tandem with global pursuits.

 

Renata's professional trajectory includes collaborations with esteemed entities such as Sydney Dance Company, Fremantle Media, ITV Studios, Digital Pictures, and SBS, contributing to notable global shows like World News, FIFA World Cup, and Eurovision. As a film and television producer, she left an indelible mark on projects such as "Peter Rabbit 1," "2040," and "Deadline Gallipoli," working with major clients including NBCUniversal, Foxtel, Netflix, and more.

 

As a Journalist for Dance Informa Magazine for the past two decades, Renata has conducted interviews with industry leaders and contributed performance reviews for prestigious entities like Sydney Dance Company, American Ballet Theatre, The Australian Ballet and The Royal Ballet for the Australian, UK and USA editions. 

 

In her ongoing pursuit of creativity, Renata founded Ballet Trove, fostering curiosity and wonder in children. Currently residing in the hinterland of Byron Bay and Sydney with her family, she invites others to join her on a journey of creating a life rich in beauty and expression.
